A friend's friend and a colleague's brother tested positive for the coronavirus today. There's a sense now of the virus inching closer. By the time it leaves, if at all, COVID would have probably touched each one of us in some way. We must take precautions, wear masks and gloves,
maintain safe distance, sanitize our bodies and our homes, etc. But we must also be ready for it. There are no escape routes anymore, so we must turn to our closest allies, people we love most,
and prepare ourselves to take care of them and also allow them to become our caregivers in the months ahead. I don't know if herd immunity will save us or not. But in small groups we have to start relying on each other more than ever before, learn to surrender our egos,
permit those who matter to take us through this time instead of attempting to get past this alone. We'll survive this isolation, but only with togetherness.
