Started remixing songs in 2016 as Gravity 9inety 6ix. Marcus was one of the first people to believe in my remixing abilities. He gave me an opportunity to remix songs every week & premiere them on his show at Metro FM. I& #39;ll forever be grateful to this manhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙏" title="Folded hands" aria-label="Emoji: Folded hands">
In the same year i shot my shot to remix a song for some amazing artists i& #39;m a very big fan of. Found the message i sent em when i reactivated my old Facebook account. I& #39;ll share the screenshot as we get closer to the big news @theholstarmusic was talking about. Got no reply
Fast forward to 2019 i complimented a music video for a song they released. They responded & followed me back, a few weeks later there was a remix for the song. It was dope!
I shot my shot again to remix a song by them. This time i got a response & i got the stems..........
Worked on my remix for a week. Sent it to them & they loved it. I didn& #39;t know how to master music by then, they asked me to send a file for mastering or a mastered version. Got stuck & lost the chance just like that.
Still continued to support their music cause i was the one to blame for what happened. It was an honor to work on something they loved, been a fan of these guys since 2010. Their consistency made me happy as a fan, their fire music was too much!
Decided to take a full EDM course to understand how these big guys get clean & loud mixes. Got to learn some sound design & other tricks used in dance music to make it more interested. Prior to the course i also made a remix for a legend ( @theholstarmusic) which was important!
I finally finished the course, thought it was going to be an easy road from there. Boy did i know that it was just the beginning of the real lessons!
Lucky enough, i had an audio engineering guardian angel to get me through the journey. @MyFusalife bless you bro.
Fast forward to 2020 i got screwed real hard, back to square one. Started working with my Behringer hps3000 headphones to work on music (current situation by the way), no interface, just a PC & headphones & my skill.
Little did i know that gratitude in the things i have was going to unlock the biggest blessing of my life. Those who really know me are used to my stealth mode when i& #39;m working on projects. I& #39;ll continue this thread when the time comes to reveal the big news.
