I have never seen any incarnation of She-Ra before, or even any incarnation of He-Man at that. The only Filmation cartoons I have ever seen are Bravestarr and that crappy Aquaman 60s show, so I am going in so blind that this is my only frame of reference:

I just wanna say, 1) Captain Marvel outright ripped off the beginning of this show, omg, and 2) It must have really sucked living in a place like this but boy does it look cool
