Before lockdown the Botany team @Te_Papa helped me collect a mudwort specimen so I could learn more about the way plant collecting works. Today, after that unexpected delay, I laid out my specimen!
I was a very slow cataloguer but with Heidi’s expert assistance I got there and am now even listed as a “collector”
I was also a fumble-fingers at lay out but @AntKusabs guided me towards a very pleasing result regardless of me being inept with scissors, stamping & folding
Even imaged the sheet for Collections Online! Thanks to @CarlosLehnebach and @LeonPerrie for being so generous with their time & giving me this chance to learn hands-on in our natural history collections
