It& #39;s increasingly becoming apparent that conferences that go online will need to adapt. More thought is needed around interaction and participation, practical sessions and a shorter conference as no one is going to sit through 7 hours of content online. 1/3
Speakers need to learn how to adapt their talks, use closed caption text and possibly a microphone for better audio. Where possible a webcam to appear in shot and if possible stand, as presentations are always improved by being stood up rather than slouched over a desk. 2/3
Much thought needs to be given as to how presentations are archived, it& #39;s not good enough just to share slides as context is removed. Where possible, record the presentations and host them on the conference/organiser site and/or a YouTube Channel, extract audio for a podcast. 3/3
