"Capitalism" should be a class taught in high school.
Arguably it& #39;ll have more impact on most peoples lives than science or maths (although teaching STEM subjects widely will probably have more impact on society long term)
And i don& #39;t mean "home economics". I mean capitalism. Teaching people how the world really works, how the power law distribution of wealth will affect their lot in life.
I say "capitalism" and not "economics" because economics covers a much larger subject area and multiple different systems. Just like you can have science class, or you can have chemistry.
This thread btw isn& #39;t a criticism of capitalism, properly regulated it& #39;s a great system.

Improperly regulated and it needs to be reset every few hundred years and that tends to involve violence.
