Recent events have caused me to reflect on the things I am thankful for more than I normally do. I have set some extremely lofty goals for myself in my life and I have already accomplished so much. I am extremely thankful for my life.
I& #39;m thankful for my vision. My eyesight allows me to see the beauty in the world. The other day I saw the most beautiful sunrise. I& #39;m able to observe and admire the athleticism of the baseball players I coach. I& #39;m able to see natural beauty and the beauty that we create.
I& #39;m thankful for my family. They don& #39;t always understand the decisions I make or the way I& #39;m choosing to live my life but they will always love me. (My dad will see this thread and tell my mom to log in to read it.)
I& #39;m thankful for everyone who supports me and has given me opportunity in my career. Especially @JeffLongBP, @harrypav, and @CoachRB6. I wouldn& #39;t be where I am without their help, honesty, knowledge, feedback, and friendship. They believe in me when I don& #39;t believe in myself.
I& #39;m thankful for my team. Many people have told me that players and coaches won& #39;t respect me. I& #39;m too ugly, never played, am a girl, and many other reasons. I& #39;ve been wrong and failed many things so far as a coach but respect has never been an issue at @UCWV_Baseball. #BSITG
I& #39;m not entirely sure what to say but I am especially thankful for @K3ND477. Thank you for being a great friend, seeing me for who I am, and sharing your life with me. You& #39;re the definition of a true friend.
I am thankful for the other women coaches that I have had the opportunity to get to know recently. They understand my experiences in a way that other coaches don& #39;t. Thank you @FoldenFastpitch, @biancaesmith12 @coachcarol43, @mrsescocoach, Jen Pawol, and Alyssa Nakken.
I& #39;m thankful for all of the people and experiences I have had this far in my life. I& #39;m excited to see where I go and who I meet in the future.

If you& #39;re still reading this, tell me about something in your life that you are thankful for.
