The thing is you *can't* answer them because you share all of their assumptions. Based on those assumptions, there is *zero* reason why a woman cannot hold the priesthood other than God hating women. They don't think God hates women, so they shift the accusation to the brethren.

Meanwhile you, who likes the church but also really likes holding mainstream views of the world and punishing those who don't, just sit there befuddled while young people lose their testimonies over absurd PC ideas that *you* defend.
