Mothers’ work patterns have diverged from fathers’ in #lockdown.

1⃣ They're more likely to have lost their job, or to have been furloughed
2⃣ Their working hours have fallen more, proportionally
3⃣ Their work time is interrupted more often by childcare

Mothers are looking after children in 10.3 hours of the day on average during #lockdown. This is 2.3 hours more than fathers.

They are doing housework in 1.7 more hours of the day than fathers.
Fathers are now taking on a greater share of household responsibilities than they were before the #Covid_19 crisis.
