Beyond all current problems what worries me *most is the change in society, in people unleashed. What Marina Hyde so accurately described as an 'undercurrent of menace'. Open & accepted cruelty, humiliation of others & indifference.
*That is what we need to oppose.

We need to bring back universal empathy, kindness & humility. A spirit of tolerance, acceptance & open-mindedness. A recognition of the importance of education, fairness & decency.
When these again become the natural pillars of society, our lives will be good & our govt decent...

Start today. Start where you can. Start w/ whatever you see. Show people how you want to live. Calmly oppose intolerance. Firmly stand up for the embarrassed & humiliated. See those that are being ignored.

Show them. Bc many have forgotten what kindness & respect feel like.
