someone wise once told me that

“someone else’s mental illness is NOT your baggage to carry”

I (& many around me) feel that it is our responsibility to carry around other peoples’ problems. We can certainly help, but it shouldn’t go to the point of negativity affecting us.
we can guide our friends and loved ones to resources that will help them. But at the end of the day, they have to be the one to take that first step. https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ ">https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/">...
If you’re contributing to their mental illness, that’s a whole other issue - but that isn’t what this thread is about.
