I support the blue. I believe police and law enforcement are essential. Similarly to our veterans, they put their life on the line and step up each day knowing they might not see their loved ones again. That being said. Fuck all the cops involved with #GeorgeFloyd.
Those cops weren’t policing for safety or enforcing the law or acting in self defense. After reading reports, yes he may have been resisting and yes slamming him to the ground may have been necessary. But continuing for 10+ minutes to choke him?! WHEN UR BACKUP IS THERE!!!!!!????
Normally I get holding someone in a compromising position, when ur waiting for help. I get that. Waiting till you deem it is safe for you to re-adjust and cuff etc etc. BUT. You. Had. Backup. There. And. You. Continued. To. Choke. Him. Out. For. 10. Fucking. Minutes.
I get it, you want to be safe and return home to ur family at night. Completely understandable but you could’ve safely secure and apprehend him adequately with the police there. Are y’all that shitty of cops that three of you can’t cuff or put him in a squad car within 10 mins?
Also what did you think was gonna happen. If a hippo sits on ur neck are you gonna take it for 10 mins without dying?!?! This was well beyond reasonable use of force. This. Was. Fucking. Murder. Your actions prove your intentions.! Periodt. Along with every other cop there w you.
Lastly when the fuck is the trial for these ex cops and their murder sentences. Because nobody on this earth should settle for just these ex cops to just be fired. Nobody.
It’s hard for me because I’m republican and I try to see social issues neutrally and just look at facts and to avoid my personal views. But this is not okay and can’t be defending by anyone on any side of the aisle. Though I am still saddened the distaste for all cops after this.
I still believe law enforcement is crucial and essential and I don’t even know if stricter laws for them will fix the issue. I believe excessive force complaints etc need to be reviewed extensively for all police though. Just remember that hardly anyone compliments nowadays too
What I mean is everyone is all fuck 12 and fuck cops across the world but there are 100,000 great cops to the 1 cop that’s awful. And hardly anyone mentions all the good cops do on the daily and the risks the take. Running in as others run out. Just the bad ones are blown up.
Which they rightfully should be blown up, but that’s a tiny part of all the police in America. Police have been huge in my life w family matters and mental health issues etc and personally we never wrote in a compliment, tho we really should’ve.
Idek all in all I can’t sleep and just read a article to learn more about what happened and hated reading about good cops be attacked for 4 awful, AWFUL, cops. When id rather love to see the 4 bad cops being attacked and riots at their house etc etc.
All I meant with this thread was, attack the masses for the actions of a few.
