before I go to bed, I& #39;ll say this: I don& #39;t think trixie and katya are racist. I think trixie has really shitty jokes and terrible timing. but because she& #39;s popular, we& #39;ve allowed her to get away with it and think it& #39;s ok by turning a blind eye. her fans (the ones that knew)
- didn& #39;t hold her accountable, so she kept on. and she continues to make jokes that we raise our eyebrows at, and say things that turn twitter into a frenzy for one night. what do we do? we hold her accountable. don& #39;t let her off the hook, make sure she knows it& #39;s not ok.
this doesn& #39;t mean threaten her or anything like that. It means use your voices. now Katya. I honestly don& #39;t know what I think. I& #39;ve seen her cry over the injustice in the US, and I& #39;ve seen her use the n word. hold her accountable. same as trixie. if she is sorry, that& #39;s great!
just don& #39;t brush this under the rug like you did last year. in summary, you have to hold people responsible. don& #39;t say "yeah, but I love them" there is not but. their actions aren& #39;t acceptable, period. how they respond is on them, but don& #39;t act like you haven& #39;t seen this.
don& #39;t make excuses, don& #39;t change the subject. acknowledge it, LISTEN TO POC, DON& #39;T SPEAK OVER US, and see what happens. if trixie and katya say nothing, I& #39;d be disappointed, but not surprised. I think that sums up most of my thoughts. I love you all, be safe https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đź–¤" title="Black heart" aria-label="Emoji: Black heart">
