Was a good opportunity for judiciary to clear some part of the huge pendency in this lockdown, but clearly judiciary missed the bus.

In the present scenario the judiciary has clearly lost its relevance. If you are shut with no justice being served (except in urgent matters) with no computes and work being carried out on typewriters in most district courts of the country, you are non-relevant.

Executive and Legislators are doing their job. Why can’t judiciary function? Why we don’t have tech enabled system for judiciary even after 70 years of Independence? Why can’t every court function? Why can’t every judge use technology/VC for cases?

Judiciary have made mockery of the system. Many advocates can’t use computers/ VC as well, because anyone can become a lawyer in the country? It’s like doctor doesn’t know the basic medicines and has a degree. AIBE is a joke. Anyone can pass open book examination.

People can get law degree and start practising. I see lawyers standing at the gates of the district court for challan matters and their day ends if they earn 1000/- and came to know of many lawyers who just take money and then never return the call of the clients.

There are no cases on them because a litigant don’t want to fight a lawyer. A litigant needs justice, doesn’t want to fight with the lawyer. Judicial system in india should change or the judiciary will lose its little relevance as well. System should be uniform in the country.

Make use of English or Hindi in the whole country in district courts. Uniform filing, counter filling format for the entire country. Will save lot of time and energy for appeals as well. Most importantly fill the vacancies.

And stop the vacation thing immediately. Why do courts and judges need summer and winter vacations? Does the executive and legislature take vacations? If you are a part of the system then stop this vacation nonsense.
