yes, raising a child with behavioral disorders can (and very likely will) be extremely difficult at times, but adoption is a LIFELONG decision that you to commit to.

they also pointed out that i said that autism is a behavioral disorder, which i also apologize for! it& #39;s actually a developmental disorder that affects communication and behavior, not a behavioral disorder.
the main point of my tweets was to point out that these allistic "parents" didn& #39;t value their neurodivergent child the way they did their neurotypical children, so i& #39;m super sorry if any of my wording was harmful to the autistic community!
