Did Ram exist? Yes, I am quite sure he did. His life was a fact; divinity is a matter of faith. To doubt existence of Ram is to doubt all literature. There is no archaeological or epigraphic evidence for Jesus or Muhammad, who are known only from Bible n Quran, respectively.

Does it mean they didn't exist? If Ram performs miracles, such as liberating Ahalya, Biblical story of Jesus walking on water or Quranic tale of Muhammad flying to heaven on a horse are equally miraculous. Such stories reinforce divinity, not fact.
