The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge aren’t happy about a piece on Kate in Tatler magazine. A Kensington Palace spokeswoman says: “This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication.”

Earlier, royal sources said a claim in the piece that Kate felt furious, exhausted and trapped after Harry and Meghan’s exit left her with a bigger workload was untrue.

The Cambridges have been left to pick up the pieces along with Charles and Camilla and other members of the family after the Sussexes quit but since lockdown they’ve typically limited official duties to two or three days per week to leave time for home schooling.
