Are Twitter and Facebook more divisive than Instagram? If so, do you think it’s because the former two deal primarily in words and the later deals in images? Are words more divisive than pictures? If so, why?

What about the design of these platforms (FB, Tw, IG) influence our frequency of arguments? Does our ability to “peacock” in photos decrease our need to seek the thrill of winning an argument? Is it a difference in how comments are visually highlighted? Why do we fight? Why not?
To be clear, I tagged some folks to get the conversation started but would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this! I’m researching the fight or flight instinct & thinking about designs that trigger the fight response. Bouncing ideas around in my head, curious what others think!
