For the record, in regard to situations like Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Christian Cooper, Aeneas Hawkins (who posted recently about his experience on Twitter), etc. please change the narrative from, “It’s 2020, this shouldn’t still be happening,” to

“This should never have happened in any time period! It’s disgusting, despicable, inhumane, sin against God, and sin against those made in His image and likeness!”

Racism was never just about time period or intelligence. It continues in this very technologically advanced age, growing in nuance and sophistication. So we too must grow, change, nuance, and sophisticate.

I repeat with specificity, Native American genocide, the transatlantic slave trade, the Chinese exclusion act, the racial integrity act, Jim Crow, mass incarceration, etc. etc. NEVER should’ve happened in what was supposed to be a free country.

America has NEVER been great for everyone. The Civil Rights Act and the Movement subsequently dubbed as such should be renamed the Human Rights Act and Movement. #changethename #changethenarrative #saytheirnames
