the time I was struck by lightning THREAD:
i was golfing, saw there was a storm, heard the air horn to leave the course, ignored it bc I paid $80 to play, chilled in a wooded area of the course, got up to get my golf ball from the green, and then I literally got struck, woke up in the clubhouse and they called my mom
i was fine except for the fact that i couldn’t hear and i had a bright red burn on my left foot that took the shape of every vain so it looked like a tree branch kinda. the doctor said the electric current went to every limb of my body and it’s amazing that i didn’t have any
internal damage bc i was like 14. he did a ton of hearing tests and then i was able to hear after a couple hours. went home and... yea! few days later i got a care basket from the golf club and they gave me a cheese assortment and free golf for a year. end of thread
one more thing: nobody understands why i would’ve left the wooded area to get the ball but bitch i had untreated ADHD...........
