So like. OBVIOUSLY I fucking love dqxi and honestly I love every dq game I’ve played but. But. I latched on to this one hard and I don’t think 12 is gonna have the same effect on me, and not just for story reasons either!

Like, anything that makes me latch on to characters so hard that I HAVE to write stuff for them is gonna stick with me. But also? I don’t know if 12 is gonna end with me getting a bunch of awesome friends!!!!
I have a whole bunch of really creative friends now!!! Who write and draw really cool things and come up with awesome ideas!!! And like the things I come up with! And call me out when I’m being too down on myself!
I’m in a dnd campaign that’s fun as hell! We have game nights and meetup plans we wanna make reality! And I can trace that back to a video game!!
Honestly? 12 could be the greatest game ever made, but I feel like dqxi is gonna have the top spot in my heart for a VERY long time. It’s gonna be damn hard to top a shitload of new friendships.
This thread is 100% an excuse to get sappy about my friends.
