This won’t address everything, and it won’t go into specifics. Please feel free to add things in the comments if you want and I will add them to my thread with creds. Please feel free to correct me on anything and I will add in the correction. Please feel free to call me a bitch.
1: Antis.
Yeah, we all saw this one coming. Unfortunately, this isn’t really one we can fix as a fandom. Antis are people that hate on fandoms or groups or soloists for skewed reasons or no reason at all. The only way we can really take care of antis is by uniting as +

fandoms (I’m not saying get all lovey-dovey with other group fandoms, solo group stan i.e. only stay or only orbit is fine! I’m just saying unite with your OWN fandom) in order to block out their hate—clearing searches, reporting threats or truly awful haters, etc etc. Fighting!
2. Companies.
The industry itself isn’t as glitz and glamour as it seems. While some companies are perfectly nice, others are racist, derogatory, or straight up abusive. Again, not too much we can do other than spread the word and support the idols under them as much as we can.

3. Saesangs and other toxic fans.
Alright, we all know that saesangs are the worst. Don’t support saesang fansites, don’t support their y/n fantasies, and dear lord above, do NOT become one yourself.
However, saesangs aren’t the only bad fans. Toxic fans are almost as bad.

- those who insist their group is the only good group ever
- those who put down other groups to make their group look better, supposedly
- SEVERE solo stans or stans who think a member should leave a group for any reason other than their health +

I know this one sounds pretty vague, but bear with me here. People who think that they know their idols personally just because they support their stage personas are WRONG. I don’t want to say that our idols are constantly putting on a +

facade or always showing us something fake. THAT’S NOT WHAT I MEAN. What I mean is that you are not close with your idol. They likely do not know you personally. They also can’t show some parts of their personality on camera because that’s just how the industry works. Sorry.
5. Obsessive, degrading fans.
Ever met that one account that is always pushing everyone to “vote, vote again, you better have voted, show me some proof! I can’t believe you didn’t vote, what kind of fan are you?” or “you didn’t buy any albums? You aren’t supporting them!”

Look. It’s not all about the voting and sales. Yes, it’s nice to support idols through sales. Yes, it’s good to vote for your idols. However, its not your place to force someone to do it constantly! You may remind them or ask them to maybe once, twice. Don’t spam them! It’s rude.
6. This is the last one—again, this is a short thread mostly about fandoms and what we need to fix. I’m not here to fix the industry—I again do not know enough about it. So, six: FANWARS.

would you please keep it to yourself? There’s no need to start stupid fanwars over stuff that generally doesn’t matter. Don’t send hate about a group or soloist. Don’t call another idol trash, etc. There’s no reason! If you only want to stan one group then stay in your lane!
