I'm currently reading a book called *Spymistress*, a gift from my wife, about Vera Atkins, head of the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) in WWII.
From this book I learned something very interesting about Chuck Yeager: before he was a famous test pilot, he was a WWII fighter pilot. When he was shot down in early 1944, he joined the French Resistance on the ground. In his own words: "I became a terrorist."
Think about that. Chuck Yeager, archetypal American hero - and self-professed, unapologetic terrorist. That's what it took to fight the Nazis in 1944. Our fake so-called #resistance would do well to reflect on what Resistance really means.
