The fuck 12 attitude is disgusting. A thread.

My boyfriends been a cop for a small town for the past few months now and the amount of times he comes home just absolutely exhausted and tired can’t be measured. He absolutely loves his job but some days it’s hard.

The amount of times I’ve seen him upset because he couldn’t help someone out of a domestic violence situation (because they wouldn’t leave) , upset because he couldn’t stop someone from taking their own life, sad because he had to take kids away from their families.

That shit weighs on him. And because y’all see other cops murdering people, and arresting your friends for the shit THEY DID it’s “fuck 12 and anyone that supports” that attitude is childish and y’all need to grow up. Not all cops are doing their jobs the way they should.

But not everyone can predict how a situation/person is going to turn out. And at the end of the day, they want to go home just like you do. So maybe instead of bashing on police officers who are just trying to get home to their families maybe stop and fucking think that they are

A human being too. It’s not white fucking privilege, it’s not racism. They show back the respect that you give them. No respect from you = no respect from them. I can’t speak for all cops and I can’t even speak for my boyfriend but I can say that if you play stupid games you win

Stupid prizes and that is my fucking rant tonight. Grow up, and if not? Don’t call 911 asking for help when you need it because “fuck 12” right? You should be able to take care of yourself.
