If I grab some guy and then with help from my friends, subdue the guy and the him up. Fine. If after we've detained and controlled him, I choke him out and kill him. I'm not getting paid vacation. I'm going on trial and my friends are too. 2/

This is the very minimum standard that should be applied to cops. But in reality, being trained professionals, with arguably, a license to kill, police should be held to a much higher standard. Perfection should be the goal.
Anything less should not be acceptable. /3
