6 Pack EMS Personal Thoughts and Review [A Thread]
I. INTRODUCTION
*EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) - Gumagamit ng light kuryente (impulses) sa muscles to move

*USE - sabi ginagamit daw sa Physical Therapies, but nautilize din sa Fitness Industry đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

Advertised para magkaron ka ng abs kuno na walang pawis hahaha
PARTS:

1. Yung big one is water resistant, kinda made of plastic, idk what specific plastic

2. Controller - dinidikit sa malaki haha. Uses 2 AAA battery. Gumana pa naman after kong maibagsak. Will discuss modes later haha
3. Gel pads: Madikit sa sa simula pero nag dedeteriorate siya kada gamit ko. Sa ibang shops nakakabili ng refills nito. Important to kasi masakit pag daretso sa skin hahaha. If planning ka to use EMS long term, bili ka refills. Mabilis masira sa part na may malakas na impulse
MODES:

Currently may 6 modes ung unit ko.
1: Short Pulses (Upper Abs)
2: Fast Contractions (Core)
12: Combi 1&2
3: Short Fast Pulses (Core)
4: Long Contractions (Core)
34: Combi 3&4

Note: mas malakas kuryente sa upper abs part, baka possible defect?
Also note na yung modes is based sa ano na feel ko kasi walang nakalagay sa instruction manual.

Pulses - Short burst of electricity
Contractions - Para kang umiire. Hahaha

May 5 intensities siya and naabot ko naman lahat. Mas ramdam siya on higher levels haha
HAZARDS

Wag gagamitin kung:
-May electronic implants sa katawan
-Epileptic
-Sensitive Skin
-May sugat or stitches
-Malapit sa other sensitive machines
-Buntis
II. METHODOLOGY
Sa experiment ko for 1 week:

DIET - same usual diet ko, 1 cup rice per meal, more than 2L water per day (stay hydrated pogi!)

WORKOUT - I'm doing workout every day (Chest, Back, Shoulder, Legs and Core everyday). Swapped Core workouts with EMS
MODES USED:

Personally like 1, 2, 12. Operating time is 12-15 minutes, automatic siya nag o-off. Intensity ko on first day is yung una lang, eventually at Day 3 onwards, yung max intensity na gamit ko.
NOTES:
-Make sure nakalapat maigi ung gel pads. Pag hindi, masakit na parang tinutusok tusok. Mas okay gamitin with trimmer belt or something na magmamakesure na flat siya.

Nakahiga na ako kasi minsan di na kumakapit yung gel pads. Or yung kamay ko nakahold to make sure flat sya
III. TEST RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

SENSATION
Pulses - parang tinutusok tusok ka (make sure nakalapat para hindi masakit)

Contractions - Parang umiire ka, tapos ang pakiramdam is yung sakit na after mo kumain is naggagagalaw ka agad

Minsan masarap, medyo orgasmic. Haha
SIDE EFFECTS
Redness - nung nag increase ako to max intensity, nagkaroon ng visible red patch sa tiyan ko. 'Di siya masakit or makati. Nawala din after.

Kabag - Feeling ko kinabag ako haha nauutot ako palagi 😂

Note: Wag gagamitin pag bagong kain/busog or bloated
VS WORKOUT

For me, mas okay yung sakit nung workout. Sa Core workout kasi feel mo yung 'burning' feeling + parang may gumuguhit na linya. But this is just me kasi nasanay ako dun. Minsan yung pain sa core from workout nacacarry the next day.

Matatarget mo din specific parts.

Lumiwanag lang. Joke haha. Medyo visible naman, medyo pumayat ('Natuyo') yung tiyan ko.
IV. CONCLUSION

ADVANTAGE
Okay siya if busy person ka and 'di mo maisingit ang core workout. Hindi ka rin pagpapawisan. Nagt-twitter lang ako at shopee shake habang ginagamit ko ito hahaha unlike dati na papawisan talaga ako at matatagalan. Reduces workout time.
FAT LOSS VS TONING

Mas okay Workout for Fat loss since papawisan ka talaga. Also, DIET (Macros/Calorie Count). If dedicated ka talaga for fat loss.

V. RECOMMENDATION

If fat loss habol mo, DIET + WORKOUT for FASTER results. If Toning AND BUSY ka masyado, you can use 6 pack EMS for assistance.

COST
Bought at 890 sa fb shop. Meron sa Shopee less than 100 lang although chambahan if gagana.
Regardless, if balak mo bumili go for good value deals. Pareparehas lang naman sila itsura as far as I know.

Bili ka if may spare money ma, pero for me 'di siya necessity for workout routines. Mas okay workout since matatamaan mo talaga most parts ng tiyan mo â˜ș.
