My dog is absolutely in love with him. He comes to visit about every month and when he packs up to leave he’ll set his hoody on the guest room bed so she can snuggle with it when she misses him.

I’m sometimes a workaholic and he has not once ever gotten mad at me for working late, skipping lunch, going in on my days off, or otherwise doing more than is asked of me.

*i know this sounds like the bare minimum but.....

My past was full of “you’re salary, not hourly, don’t work more than you have to.”

Now it’s “hello beautiful” texts. “I guess you’re working late but I wanted to let you know I’m thinking about you” “can’t wait to see your face later”

Encouraging me to keep working hard.

One of our early convos occurred soon after I got the 3rd Atticus poetry book in the mail.

He took an interest&asked me to send pics of my faves as I read thru it.

He must’ve saved them. Bc he’s sent them to back to me, in moments where I needed to be reminded of their words

If he does scroll thru my profile and see this thread idk how he’ll react. Hopefully he won’t be mad.
