More people should know that JUST putting gloves on when going out isn't going to save you from cross-contamination.
A thread:
Something like coronavirus isn't going to look at your gloves and think..."Oh MAN, they are good! That glove barrier is IMPENETRABLE😫"
Cross contamination happens when you touch something with gloves on and then you touch your phone/purse/wallet/bag with those same gloves.
Well, how do you NOT do that?
For starters, don't touch surfaces you think are contaminated like doors or walls or items and use the same gloves to touch your phone...
In that case, what you just put on your gloves via touch just transferred to your phone. :(
Now the thing you wanted to avoid has a happy home on your phone screen. Just vibing.
You get back to wherever else you're going and now THE GLOVES ARE OFF.
You touch phone screen with naked hand.

OOF.
Any bacteria or virus stuff on phone just hitchhiked onto you!
Gloves aren't a substitute for WASHING YOUR HANDS!
Always wash your hands!!
If you do decide to glove up, make sure you have more than one pair and that you discard the ones you've used to touch other surfaces ASAP no Rocky after touching them.
Also, maybe ditch the phone for your trips?
High contact surfaces can't be contacted if they were never there in the first place.
Alright end thread.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and even with places starting to open up, stay vigilant fam! :)
