In this thread I will complain about a common and infuriating feature of academic writing, where "roadmaps" or scaffolding is retained in the printed text. In tweet one I will say I don't like it. In tweet two I will complains about the length and repetition.
Much academic writing retains "roadmap" or scaffolding text. I don't like it.
The academic practice of "roadmap" or scaffolding text is unnecessarily repetitive and adds to the length of texts to no purpose.
In this thread I have demonstrated my dislike of the academic practice of "roadmap" or scaffolding text. I have expressed my dislike of it. I then demonstrated it is repetitive and overly long.
