I know some can relate and many can't...I don't even know when I began being mindful of things like not wearing hoodies in certain areas. It's literally part of growing up that you learn how to "not look suspicious."
It's crazy to me that the Amy Cooper and George Floyd stories are running simultaneously. Almost ironic like it's some form of symbolism for systematic failures.
Watching Christian Cooper's video before even getting to the end... my initial reaction when she threatened an innocent black man with a police call is that HE should just leave before it gets worst FOR HIM. How sad.
I don't even have words for George Floyd, Eric Garner or the innumerable others. No sanctity of life. People's families being destroyed. Somebody son or daughter treated like an animal at the hands of cruel, unjust "cops".
And I hate how the system has tried to pen faith against social justice, like they can't coexist. You are a fool if u can't call evil, evil.
