lwj did two things he saved a-yuan and then he raised him. first of all lwj did NOT save this child because of his connected to wwx he saved him because he was a child in need and it’s obvious lwj would do anything to help innocents from suffering. in regards to raising him-

i do think a big part of choosing to raise this child was his connection to wwx and i think it’s kinda clear that he wouldn’t raise just any child he saved ya know. but his love for sizhui, i think, grew over time as he raised him, and became a new entity, separate from wwx

did this make sense? idk but it made sense in my head MORAL OF THE STORY LWJ IS A GOOD FATHER AND LOVES HIS SON FOR WHO HE IS AND NOT JUST BECAUSE OF HIS CONNECTION TO WWX
