Regarding your programme Newsnight broadcast on 26/05/2020

I wish to complain on a personal basis regarding bias in your presenters opening comments regarding a private individual (Mr Dominic Cummins).

Can you confirm how you view your employee has acted with impartiality in line with your code of conduct (section 1.6 parts i, ii and iii)

Mr Cummins has not been found guilty or charged with any offence.

Whether he has broken any rules is the presenters opinion displayed as a fact.

The BBC had the opportunity to question Mr Cummins on 25/05/2020.

He made his position clear that he believed he had not broken any rules.

At this stage Mr Cummins remains not to have been found guilty of any such rule breaking or charged with any crime.

It is my belief that this programme has not fulfilled your role as a public Service Broadcaster and I ask you to review this a a matter of urgency.
