I guess I need to just put this out for everyone in #Michigan.
This is why I will question every move @GovWhitmer is making.
I went over this on #HardcorePatriot Friday night (its my pinned tweet)
Let's look at raw data from the state site itself.
Ready??????

This is a very telling graph. Yes, the cases have risen because testing is more frequent. The bump on May 15 is from backlogged reports. Michigan has been plummeting in COVID19 cases since the peak in April...
2/
Here is your case report by age.
Notice something strange?
If you're under 50, your chances of dying from #COVID19 are very slim, and usually involves an underlying condition.
0-29 deaths are almost non-existent. 🤔
Strange

Yes.....Grandma and Grandpa are in danger. They are the high risk. Keep them safe at home and avoid risks with them.
But the rest of the family....well....you need to be back to work and living your lives unless you have an underlying condition.

This is a long list, but pay attention to Detroit City, Wayne County (Detroit's county), Macomb County and Oakland county. Those are counties surrounding Detroit area and they make up 78% of COVID related deaths in Michigan!
4105 deaths out of 5266 in one area!

Now, lets do some comparison, for perspective. This chart gives you the top causes of death by month in Michigan. Heart disease is CLEARLY more deadly, and, look at March, April, May 2020.
We had one month of peak COVID deaths and now its dropping like a rock.
Curious.🤔

In summary:
We did our part and "flattened" the curve.
@GovWhitmer CHANGED the reasons she wants most of the state locked down.
WHY?
These stats are readily available. Decide the risk for yourselves. You're grown adults.
The info is all in this thread.
