trying to reimagine IT as a horse movie

georgie is obviously still dead, he's the catalyst to bill's journey of self discovery (the discovery is that he's a horse person)

the barrens are... an abandoned farm. but wait, there's still something here! a WILD HORSE. it's wild and untameable but slowly learns to accept the children and bit by bit they all BOND

only when they all meet and become friends they can "tame" the horse!! (the horse is a metaphor for FRIENDSHIP)

IT is an evil corporation that wants to build a mall where the barrens are. the abandoned farm would be destroyed! that is not acceptable. the Losers have to save the horse

i'm not sure if they take turns riding the horse or if they all ride together but anyway, through a combination of bravery and resourcefulness and naïveté that only children possess they manage to save the farm... FOR NOW

i don't know what happens in the second movie but stan is definitely not dead and the reason he doesn't want to go back to derry is that he's over horses and into birds now.
