I asked my pals for some of there favourite passes of all time, based off weight of pass, camera angle, satisfaction etc. Needed somewhere to store them, feel free to suggest some more [A thread].
Fabregas. One touch on the volley to slice open a helpless Burnley defence. Real ballers understand the difficulty level. 9/10.
Kaka. One of my favourite players to watch growing up. The defender made a desperate last ditch attempt to intercept. Don’t bother mate. An extra half a mark for the opposition and occasion, 7.5/10.
Daley Blind. A truly iconic goal. Not remembered for the pass however. In my opinion RVP’s finish flattered the pass and truly stole the occasion. 4/10.
Wazza. RVP
Scoring worldies from Long balls. The difference from this is the back spin applied from Rooney. The back spin holds up the flight of the ball so that RVP doesn’t have to change a stride. One of our countries greatest. 7/10.

Beckham. Arguably the greatest crosser of them all. Not sure anybody in the stadium saw this pass. The blokes 40 yards away and still had the back line scrambling. 8/10.
Pogba. Souness is shaking. Love him or hate him you can’t deny he turns it on for France. One of the most talented players in the world. A quick shuffle of the ball and then leaving the defenders rooted. 8.5/10.
Le Fondre. A fan favourite at the Reebok. Championship Status on the line, up steps the magician. A fairly basic technique granted but the sentimental value boosts it up a few marks. 6.5/10. Ole ole.
Ziyech. You’re taught as a kid not to stand and admire a pass, but who can blame him. Camera angle adds to the score. Satisfaction through the roof. 9/10.
Parvard. Definitely one of the best weighted passes I’ve seen. Absolute sniper of a right boot. In his own half producing an assist like that. Proof that it doesn’t always have to be in the air. Oh and he scored a decent goal against Argentina too. 9/10.
VVD. The Mane goal was sublime but the pass. BT doing a brilliant job of capturing the angles. Has to get bonus points for celebrating early. 7.5/10.
Pogba. Another addition to the thread from the French playmaker. Tried to recreate this many times myself and have failed many times. When you catch it right there’s no better feeling. Weight of pass, occasion. Possibly the closest we’ve come to a perfect score. 9.5/10.
Ozil. I miss this guy. Half Volley. Straight into the path of Alexis Sanchez. Pathetic attempt of a finish probably doesn’t do this justice. Only criticism is that Ozil didn’t commit fully like Pogba for Mbappe. Solid pass none the less 6.5/10.
Pogba Part 3. At this point I could dedicate the thread in his honour. The boys appreciate Pogba’s talent and so should the people who get paid to analyse the game. Outside of the boot. 8/10.
Silva. Shame half of Old Trafford weren’t here to witness this one. One touch. Volley. Perfect weight. Only negative is that United had given up at this point. Training ground stuff. No doubt the greatest Spaniard to play in the prem. 9/10.
Jorginho. He’s the only person in the ground who’s seen this. One of them ones where you grab the Sky remote and rewind. Shades of Tom Brady. An absolute dart. 9/10.
GOAT. Cant have a thread without the king. Chest and overhead kick. No chance of Suarez missing. Only criticism is not sure how intentional it was. You’d never put it past him though. 7.5/10.
Mr Highlight reel. First time. Defenders stuck in the mud. Quality of opposition the only downside. 8/10.
Neymar. Suprised it took him this long to get a mention. Unreal skill. The professional equivalent of being in Year 11 and mugging off a cocky year 7 though. Brillaint showboating. Not necessarily what I’m looking for though. 5/10.
Thiago. Once rumoured to be joining Bolton. Would have been the most skill Bolton had seen since @jakeOBrien231 . Outside of the boot. Even got time for a quick glance over at the bench. If there was a goal at the end it would have been a 10. 9.5/10.
Mata. A sumptuous flick. The pass was that good not even Smalling could miss the target. Defence has tried the offside trap, got to get out quicker. 8/10.
Payet. Streets won’t forget this lad. Striker shouldn’t have pretty much an open net from that position though. 8/10.
Lacazette. Lovely weight of pass. Touch as soft as silk. The dummy from Ozil deserves more credit in my opinion. 6/10.
