Ironically, that webcam shot of the Moon won’t be much worse than if the Lovell had taken it. Lots of people ask to ‘look through the telescope’. It’s great for many other things though, like discovering pulsars...and they’re way more interesting than the Moon. Genuinely the craziest things aside from black holes.
