[THREAD : Toxicity in fandoms]
I think as much as fandoms need to be together, work together... they also need to keep that & #39;personal thoughts& #39; distance, they need to have some opinions for themselves only & not just share them,we are human we all have +
Bonus: Mickey= mood
Thoughts and ideas that come suddenly based on a feeling or a mood and externalyzing these thoughts can be harmful around.
Like your sudden dislike of what the Company did towards a certain member, or your thoughts about the actions of a group member or a soloist idol ..etc
There are things that need time need to be confirmed and need comprehension, I won& #39;t go to the extent of having an idealistic look into this situation but si many problems could be avoided by just simply shutting ones mouth .
Sharing hate generates more hate sharing +
Negative thoughts will fuel anger and more negative thoughts, and that& #39;s what breaks fandoms and creates this toxicity, sometimes someones thoughts or & #39;opinion& #39; are understandable based on their Age, level of maturity, maybe culture, or even mood at the moment +
But presenting that to people and expecting every single one to accept and share your opinion and sometimes VERY wrong opinion is just too much??
But not just that, people tend to always deal with people who have these different point of views agressively, like they deal +
Based on their own past experiences with similar people so they attack the person without trying to understand where they are coming from.
Of course I talk about opinions that aren& #39;t very harmful, if something is clearly very wrong we can understand a strong reaction +
However strong reaction doesn& #39;t mean you go and tell someone to go kill themselves, it& #39;s social media CHILL.
You can simply report and move on , talking about this I want also to adress how much of importance people give to bullshit on this app and any social media or-
Fandom base, like chill someone made a bad post? Ignore it, it got likes ? Report it, sharing and just making a fuss and sending Dms is an energy and time waste and also a very bad approach that person won& #39;t become a "Good person" just because you told them to go +
F*** themselves or worse, like I wish every fandom and every one in this K-Pop/ Music stans world know that the less drama the best life. For them and for their idols.
As I said I won& #39;t expect everything to just magically work I don& #39;t even expect people to read this +
But this is sad to see that in a place where people should relax have fun and enjoy their time with people who share the same interest, it becomes a stressful and very toxic environment for literally nothing?
That person hates your idol and??? Is it the end of their career? +
It& #39;s not, it& #39;s nothing, they are no one to your idol and you should be streaming their videos or songs or giving support instead of caring about someone who tries to spread negativity.
Not to forget that hating is in the humans nature, legit some people walk outside+
And hate someone for no reason it doesn& #39;t make any difference, and even If the hate is based in jealousy or things like that, it just proves that your idol is doing a good job (when they don& #39;t have anything to be hated for like r*pe etc... )
So like this is ridiculous.
Lets also talk about shippers, lmao.

So, I personally went into a toxic phase with shippers and I am glad I am out of it, the thing is there are evil people who will belittle any other friend of your bias just to make their pair work and there is where toxicity starts.
That& #39;s why you find people who ship or stan individually are like way better than the ones who do it around people with different opinions, shipping is itself 80% personal, 20% what the idols show, it& #39;s not something sure or confirmed it& #39;s what the person enjoys +
Many idols have great relationship with each other and that is amazing so I think it& #39;s unnecessary to try and belittle any ship to make another one look better for those idols their life is sorted out and they are happy with their friends or lovers and that& #39;s what matters.
Solo Stans, there are 2 types the people who fell in love accidentally with a member and only stan them and don& #39;t talk or harm other members.
These have high chances to become full stans especially if the members are close to their favorite idol.
And attacking them+
Won& #39;t make them suddenly stan the whole group so just let them. Live they stream. And have fun and don& #39;t harm anyone, I recommend to just let those people don& #39;t befriend them but don& #39;t shit on them either, we all different.
Of course if they start something, ignoring+
Or engaging with them would be normal but as long as they just share pics and stream music don& #39;t turn them bad by attacking them

These solo stans are usually rare unfortunately the majority hate other members and are jealous of anything given to them and like their idol to+
Start a solo career and such.
And it& #39;s annoying but the thing is the more people engage with them The more they hate and try to harm other members (even if they can& #39;t here) .
So the best thing again is to just ignore them.
Ignoring is the key+
If they unite just calmly report and let it pass, toxic solo stans are just not made to be in fandoms they aren& #39;t even in it as the fandoms of ggs or bgs mean they support all the members, also people need to understand the difference between having a bias and being a solo stan
To end this thread, it just requires small moves like shutting up when a dark thought comes up or just not involving in others shit and just reporting bad actions to lessen toxicity in fandoms.
Yes we are united but learn to separate YOU from EVERYONE.
Because each their opinions and each their preferences and sometimes it can be put together.
