I have been a customer of @HelloFresh for several years now, and I've got to say that I love being part of the #FreshFam and think this company and their product is pretty incredible. I get three meals a week (each meal is two servings), and HelloFresh is usually my dinner.
I just received an extraordinary apology gift in response to a couple hiccups I had a few weeks back. Everything you see in this picture was included in @HelloFresh's gift basket. I can't believe how generous this gift is and how well they handled the situation.
Here's the thing: the hiccups were really minor, and were not proportional to the size of this gift. This is especially true because they (1) already made it right; (2) were kind and didn't give me any hassle when I reported it; (3) apologized; (4) are in the midst of COVID-19.
I'm even more impressed because the letter @HelloFresh sent with this gift basket isn't just a form letter. I can tell because after my issues, they sent me an apology email and included a short survey. This letter includes a fun direct response to one of my survey answers.
I just think it's great that they went so far above and so far beyond to address their minor mistakes—especially because @HelloFresh is usually perfect. It's not like I threatened to unsubscribe or anything, so they did this to apologize and not because I was a risk for lost $$.
Even all of this aside, I still love @HelloFresh. The meals are easy and delicious and the ingredients are good. I hate grocery shopping and I never cooked/ate fresh food before. I've lost weight and saved money after subscribing because I stopped eating out so much.
Not to mention, I have virtually no food waste because they only send me the ingredients I need—I don't have to buy a head of garlic when I only need a clove. Their packaging is largely recyclable. I like that. The meals come with really easy-to-follow instructions, too.
All in all, being a @HelloFresh subscriber is great for a lot of reasons. If you're not already a #FreshFam member, I *highly* recommend giving them a try. And if you already have given them a try, what's your favorite recipe? 😁
