Ok so I was thinking “how can Yeonjun be guilty when the liars are Taehyun and Beomgyu” and me and @triviaaahen we’re talking yesterday and I was watching @suddenlytxt’s video think I have an idea! This is a txt theory thread 🤩
I’m just gonna put it in simple words for now.
We all know about that lil btch the cat right? So I’ve said a lot that I think that’s an island deity and it’s one of its forms (the most common) that it uses. The way the choreography and scenes for Can’t You See Me makes it look-
-like the boys are being controlled like puppets. (I just realised that would link to Fake Love but I’m not gonna get into that since linking this together is already a brain sore)
So, the deity, I’ll refer to at as the cat, is controlling the boys. Because of this, Soobin knows-
-and is the one that is being affected the most. Soobin’s mannerisms in the music video go from being kind of happy to being big quiet, distant and non-involved very quickly. At this point, I think there’s a scene missing. There are lots of possibilities of what the missing-
-scene is and I’ll get into that in a bit. Because Soobin knows, perhaps another member realised that there’s something strange going on too. That would be Taehyun. Taehyun clearly doesn’t like Soobin. And I think he also ends up not liking Beomgyu too, thinking that they’re in-
-on something together. Beomgyu however is not a liar because he is simply having fun and I don’t believe he is intending to hurt the other members. The scenes where the screen goes red is possible when the cat possesses him, causing him to almost suffocate Taehyun. So this-
-links to him being suspicious (of Soobin) and lying (in the case of Beomgyu)
Now, with Yeonjun, how is he guilty? Well, I don’t think he is. You see, there’s a chance that because of Yeonjun, the cat was released or was able to possess a member. But he didn’t mean to because-
-perhaps that missing scene is the scene we see in Nap Of The Star before the boys all meet. This would mean that the boys meet, allowing the cat/deity to keep watch on them and stuff (the silhouette on magic island) then it chose a perfect moment to take over the boys because-
-Soobin found out about it following them after perhaps hearing or analysing other members’ actions. And because of that, the cat controlled Soobin 24/7. That explains the Drama concept trailer, where Soobin is trapped. He’s trapped in an invisible state and can’t be seen by his-
-friends. The table represents how far his true self is from them and that his other self is the cat that is “watching over them” and “looking after them”
This scene in the MV also shows Soobin inside but then everyone else including another Soobin outside: +
With Yeonjun, I think it’s possible that after the boys fall apart, he realises that it’s somehow his fault or he feels it’s his fault. He realises that something has happened and sees that the boys are all somewhat being controlled. Because of this, he blames himself, because-
-he thinks he’s the only one that can see this. Or it’s possible he found out about the cat nearer the end when the boys were split apart. He does seem to analyse things that happen in the MV like the table scene with Taegyu. Finally, I just want to mention Hueningkai’s position-
-which is that he is the innocent bystander. He just wants it to be fun “like back then” and he becomes lonely. I feel like Huening’s character is going to go down a similar route that Jungkook,Yerin and Umji’s characters went through in the G-Friend and BTS universes🥺😭
~end of thread~
I hope you enjoy this! These ideas were completely made by mixing my thoughts, @triviaaahen’s thoughts and @suddenlytxt’s thoughts! I hope it was enjoyable! 🥺💙✨ #txt #txtuniverse @TXT_members @TXT_bighit @BigHitEnt
