1. Laugh of the Day

Obama acolytes couldn't find any universally recognized metric like GDP growth to demonstrate Obama economy was better than Trump's, so Forbes hired a hack, Chuck Jones, to tease out some metric which would make Obama look better.
2. The dogged Chuck Jones went to work. After toiling mightily, he still couldn't find any sub-measure or sub-metric which would make Obama look better. Forbes refused to pay him until he did. So Chuck asked if he could combine multiple sub-components to do the job. Forbes ok'd.
3. The intrepid Chuck Jones went back to work and tortured the data till it confessed. He found that if he combined 'consumer spending' with 'business investment' Obama's last three years looked better than Trump's first three years. Success! Chuck can finally get paid.
4. But wait! Before Forbes published Chuck Jones' article, they thought they better get it peer reviewed. Upon review, they found Chuck goofed. Even on those combo of measures, Trump came out ahead. Chuck had made an error. Chuck apologized and asked for one last chance.
5. Forbes agreed grudgingly to give Chuck Jones one last chance to redeem himself. After pulling an all-nighter, Chuck emerged victorious, and Forbes finally published his article, and paid him, after deducting an appropriate amount for wasting management's time.
6. Are you ready for Chuck's masterpiece? Obama's last three years were better than Trump's first three years based on the following metric:

"consumer spending plus business investment adjusted for inventory changes"

Phew!!!

I challenge you to verify that.
