I think focusing too much on the presence of ideological purity is not necessarily enlightening when looking for signs of fascism, which emerges out of a demimonde of failed elites, quasi-gangsters, opportunists and cranks

any time you have the principles of racketeering extended into the political realm you're getting into the territory

Keep in mind fascism is really shoddy, it's a scam, all of its grandiosity is really histrionic and hollow—which sounds familiar...
