In 2010 back when Meetup was a thing and I was trying to ~break into the social media biz~ I would go to random meetups after work and offer to live tweet them if I could put on my resume I was their "social media manager" some said yes and I wish I was still in contact w. them

I went to so many meetups! Eventually I found the @CMmeetup and they let me live tweet for them sometimes too, and I meet so many great ppl who were in the social media world back then. Crazy that was so long ago

Did anyone else go to hack days too? I used to go to every hack day and just show up and try to talk to people and convince them to follow me. Did anyone else go to photo hack day? it was somewhere in flatiron. It was so cool, I felt like NY had a real tech scene back then idk
