If you’re anxious about having your ideas stolen, I highly suggest using ideas that no one else would want to pursue so when you see something similar you’re like “oh thank god I’m not alone”

In my experience, people who get inspired by you either take just a little and add their own sauce that transforms it into something you’d never make (COOL), or they take it all but get bored immediately after because they don’t have a personal tie to it (awwh)

(I should add that if you find yourself doing this with other online artists’ work a lot you should probably try to vary your life experience and media consumption cos it can still get awwwwks and hurt some feelings)
