I wonder why the people asking "well what about a term that means a woman/n-b exclusively attracted to women/women and some n-bs, why can't we just have lesbian?"

Have they just forgotten they can say homosexual woman?
Seriously, homosexual is not a bad word, why do so many people treat it like it is? I guess it has a history of being medicalized, but so does pretty much every other label we (as in the whole community) use.
I'm pretty sure the original reason the political lesbians claimed lesbian for homosexual women exclusively was to separate themselves from anything "man", so mspecs who could or did date men and gay men especially. Y'know, they didn't want to use the same term gay men used?
But terfliness is next to blerfliness and I don't think t*rves are all that opposed to claiming homosexual woman anymore, so I'm just confused as to why blerfs are?
Also, lol, I just realized that's not how a blerf would ask that. They'd probably say ""fem aligned n-bs"" instead of what I said, because they just gotta shove n-bs into some sort of binary.

I'm literally n-b and a girl and even I don't want "fem aligned" applied to me
I understand why some people would, but seriously 1; stop using it like it's a general community term and 2; not even all cis lesbians are "fem aligned", n-bs can be masc or androgynous or neutral and still sapphic.
This thread is a mess, I meant binary, not cis here hh
Also, I realize I said homosexual woman after including n-b sapphics, homosexual (insert gender) or homosexual sapphic maybe?
