There is a small but very vocal part of MedTwitter that posts lies, assumptions, innuendo and allegations.
If it is not tolerated in your workplace then it should not be tolerated here.
The public is craving the truth. Don’t muck it up by adding to the mess.

If a MD trolls you, quote tweets you, makes up a lie about you, if you suddenly find yourself receiving an onslaught of insults, accusations and hate, because of it, speak up.
That kind of behavior is not allowed in healthcare and should not be tolerated here.

Don’t be fooled into thinking a MD with a large number of followers will be sharing accurate info. Popularity on social media may garner sponsorship and opportunities for the MD, but it doesn’t = accurate info.
Do your due diligence; ask questions and research.

NEVER tolerate being accused of being a quack, conspiracy theorist, antiscience, antivaccine, antiMD etc
It’s YOUR body YOUR health, YOUR family’s health at stake.

Remember, MDs are not gods. They’re people like you and me. They have a whole lot of life/death responsibilities on their shoulders.
They want patients to do well as much as we do. The few on MedTwitter who cause a roar don’t represent the many
