Over the last little while I have recorded a lot of content that has a #britpop leaning.

I don't label the podcast with a Britpop friendly title because I always wanted it to be a space for me to explore other things.
Even without the useful tag of Britpop or even music in the title it has slowly built an audience and now quite often crops up on certain "lists" on places like Spotify and Apple.

Anyhoo.

For those who like the old Britpop content here are some episodes just for you...
The first ever episode was an interview with Harrold from Elcka...terrible quality but interesting stuff, not from me I hasten to add; https://open.spotify.com/episode/4tv7BRkd0NFCpxnO1bvTjR
Then I interviewed @Patrick_Duff which was terrifying because I genuinely adore him and I didn't want to irritate him...he was thrilling. Intelligent, poetic, careful and witty. https://open.spotify.com/episode/6OlJ77mUUAaJBUXHCAaKde
My semi-regular co-host @nick_amies and I discussed @TheBluetones classic debut album "Expecting to Fly" and then I was joined by @ad_I_am for his insights into the album. Adam was everything you would expect... https://open.spotify.com/episode/4XvxDAONqjVYnzMAi4AmHC
Another great conversation was had when the legend (but not my legendary girlfriend) @LipglossJill joined me to talk all about the classic @pulp2011 album "His n Hers"... https://open.spotify.com/episode/0uzp3Ud8uvYAvpHyzteltG
Drummer, quiz master, stand-up comedian and thoroughly good bloke @AlanShed sat down with me when he was in Edinburgh with his Fringe debut show last summer to talk comedy and Britpop... https://open.spotify.com/episode/6KY1qiWEV278YIdLkzUYoZ
Arguably one of the greatest frontmen of his generation @MyLifeStoryUK Jake Shillingford spoke with me about the history of the band and the astonishing "World Citizen"... https://open.spotify.com/episode/30HFTnLXTJSqt7NL14esFd
Rude boy, ace face, author, musician, cultural commentator... @DanielRachel69 is an intimidating character with a CV like that but he spoke with me and proved that what he really is, is fascinating and informed. His book Don't Look Back in Anger is THE book on the 90's...
My favourite single of the Britpop era is Disappointed by @FlamingoesHQ and I was so happy when my good friends @jamesbpcook and @judecook_ joined me to break down their classic album "Plastic Jewels"... https://open.spotify.com/episode/51r9d8U5wzCyhw8k8PcbRM
I met with the delightful @onionrick of @ashofficial in a bar in Edinburgh (remember those days?) and we discussed being young, inspirations, growing up in a troubled place and more...but mainly great music...and Iron Maiden. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3sAlWQtimf4ErT7oj2QjTh
And all of that isn't the half of it.

Anyone who produces a podcast will tell you that it is both simple...and incredibly difficult. Hours of work, lots of mistakes and lots of bothering people to speak with you.

I don't have the weight of a publisher or broadcaster...
...to help me out.

Hell, I don't actually have a working computer (I'm not joking). I certainly don't make any money from it.

If you can find an episode you like(d) and share it or listen to one for the first time it would make such a difference.
Or you could watch that brilliant thing on Netflix that actually isn't as good as everyone says...unless it's #afterlife2 in which case you absolutely should watch that.
