I work with @shaunking. I have for almost three years. He’s my friend and colleague at Real Justice PAC and Action PAC.

I know few people who bring the same dedication, integrity and kindness to the fight for justice. I respect him deep in my bones.
In politics, tech and media, lots of people start things, fail, learn and iterate. Other people start things that continue to suck up money and go through the motions long after they’ve stopped being useful.

Many of those people are rewarded for their failure.
When I think about the totality of Shaun’s work, what stands out to me are the dramatic successes – winning DA races, fighting for justice in the criminal legal system, and building an audience of people who care about making structural change to our system.
What also stands out to me is that he takes risks, starts ambitious projects, and, when they fail, moves on to more impactful work. I wish more people in progressive politics did that.

We're losing. We're losing almost everywhere. We need people who try and fail until they win.
I’m not going to respond to replies here. This has all been aired out in public more than enough times for people to draw their own conclusions. If you want to talk about it, call me.
