We've been watching the trends of our health metrics that show when we can move forward: positivity rate below 20%, stable hospitalizations & hospital bed availability above 14%.

There's great news: all regions continue to be on track to move into Phase 3 by the end of the week.
Our statewide positivity rate, which hit a high of 23% in late April, is now averaging 9.2% for the last 7 days.

COVID hospitalizations, which were holding steady a couple weeks ago, have dropped to a 6-week low.

Hospital bed and ICU bed availability are both above 30%.
Seeing these numbers trend in a good direction, even after we opened things up in Phase 2, demonstrates the importance of everyday actions:

➡️ Social distancing
➡️ Face coverings
➡️ Hand washing

They're the keys to moving quickly through the phases of Restore Illinois.
All of our success thus far, and any we have going forward, is dependent on the actions of each individual and all of us collectively to protect each other.

So let's be #AllInIllinois — for your future, for your family and for our entire state.
