Haven't been following the Cullen Commission this afternoon. The news seems to be, as I've said repeatedly, without investigative reporting on BCLC casino money laundering, there would be no scrutiny and public awareness, since law was not enforced, as Peter German acknowledged.
A businessman “connected to Asian organized crime” was allowed by a British Columbia government employee to buy part of a B.C. Lottery Corp. casino, according to a confidential RCMP report obtained by Global News. (Surely, the Commission will test evidence from an RCMP document)
To be clear, the Peter German report did not disclose this evidence. The allegation points to the most serious questions of potential corruption which the @CullenInquiryBC is mandated to examine. We heard suggested by a casino lawyer today that reports from the news are ‘opinion’
