Good evening Twitter folks. So much has been happening behind the scenes. Threats have come in full force over the past weekend as well as requests for more information regarding the complaint of 11 judges that @ThaboMakwakwa & I lodged to the JSC. See thread below.

So this is Judge Siraj Desai. He was previously arrested in India after being accused of RAPE. This all happened in 2004 when he was attending the World Social Forum Conference in Mumbai with 10 other South Africans.

Another one on the list is Judge Andre Le Grange who accused both Judge President JP Hlophe and Parker of lying about an alleged assault. He also stands accused of trying to put pressure on Judge Parker to lay charges against JP Hlophe.

This is Judge Owen Rogers. A former card carrying member of the DA. He has on numerous occasions been accused of racism and having a temper, especially towards black people in particular.

This is Judge Dennis Davis. He is also part of the 11 judges who wrote a letter to Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng telling him that they are boycotting and refuse to sit with Judge Parker.

This is Adv Mark Sher SC. In 2017 during his JSC interview he spoke about how 355 white advocates and 111 black advocates (60 “coloured”, 26 black African and 16 “Indian” members) at the Cape Bar — was “not encouraging”. Today he is part of the Judges attacking JP Hlophe.

This is Judge Robert Henney. He also forms part of the Judges who have through their letter to CJ Mogoeng Mogoeng, interfered with the running of the courts.

Below we have Judge Elize Steyn she has previously also been accused of racism by Adv Sepheka Mthenjwa. Case no. No: 9028/17 .

This is Judge Patrick Gamble. He was previously accused of being a friend of the DA and having close ties to Pravin Gordhan.

This is Judge Shehnaz Meer, she also signed the letter refusing to sit with a fellow Judge at the Western Cape High Court.

This is Judge Ashley Binnes-Ward. He has previously suggested that transformation should not be a 'numbers game'. Today he is part of judges attacking the first black Judge President in the Western Cape.

These are all the 11 Judges that we have lodged a complaint with the JSC. We feel that they're part of a movement to undermine the functioning of the courts, suggesting to Judge Parker what he should and shouldn't do and effectively putting doubt by creating a bad cloud around
